Step 1

On the manage page, select the content you want to set scheduling on and then click on Continuous and then Advanced.

Step 2

Click 'Add new rules set' and then select weather scheduling.

Step 3

Search for a location to get the weather data from and then select an option.

Step 4

You will then be given multiple options to configure if your content will be displayed based on the weather that day. You can set whether you want to use the forecast data for the entire day or the conditions at the current time. You can also choose whether to use metric or imperial units for temperature and distance.

Step 5

For each of the options below that, your content will only display if all rules are met. To enable a rule, you need to click the switch on the left.

  • You are able to set one or two temperature rules and for each rule you can set either Min below, max below, min below or max above. In the below example, the content will only play if the max temperature for the day is equal to or above 30°C.

  • For Max UV index, the content will only play if the UV index for the day is more than or equal to the selected UV levels. In the below example, content will play if the UV index for the day is 6 or higher, but will not play if it is 5 or lower.

  • For wind speed, the user needs to manually enter a number and the content will only play if the entered speed is higher than or equal to the speed forecast for that day. In this example, the content will only play if the wind speed is 40km/h or higher.

  • Max pollen count is similar to UV index, the content will only play if the pollen count for the day is equal to or higher than the selected level. In this example, the content will play if the pollen count is 20 or more.

  • If you have thunderstorms selected, your content will only play if there are thunderstorms forecast for that day.

Step 6

Here is an example of setting multiple rules. If you only want to display your content if the temperature is more than or equal to 30°C with a high UV index, you could set the following:
