How to factory reset your media player

Factory resets should be performed as a last resort when symptoms like your screen never progressing past the point where a small paper aeroplane loading icon is present.

Note: you will not lose your signage templates by performing a factory reset, which are saved in the Mandoe cloud.

Ensure your media player is connected to your TV and powered on.

Press the cog button on the remote.

Select More Settings

Select System

Select Advanced

Select Reset Options

Select Erase all data (factory reset)

Press the Down arrow on the remote and highlight RESET DEVICE and press OK

Press OK to ERASE EVERYTHING

The device will now reset

WARNING!!! DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR DEVICE

  • Leave your device powered on the entire time.

  • Wait for the reset to complete.

  • When the reset is complete you should see the boot screen.

The device may reboot more than once. Just leave it until you are back on the WiFi selection page. Once you've connected to WIFI, you will be taken to the activation code screen.

If you have connected via Ethernet you should be taken directly to the activation code screen.
