In some cases, when you try to connect to WiFi on an older player the WiFi connection will not work due to the clock not being set properly.

The solution is to manually set the time to the current time. To do this:
โ€‹
โ€‹Step 1
On your player remote, click the cog icon (while pointing the remote directly at the player)

Step 2
Choose More Settings

Step 3
Choose System

Step 4
Choose Date & time

Step 5
Turn off Automatic date & time at the top

Step 6
If the date is incorrect, choose Set date
(note, you won't be able to see that Set date is selected, but if you press OK on the remote, the Set date dialogue will open)

Step 7
If the time is incorrect, choose Set time
(note, you won't be able to see that Set time is selected, but if you press OK on the remote, the set time dialogue will open), then manually enter the correct time, then press OK.

Step 7
Now go back to the Wi-Fi settings and see if you can connect to your Wi-Fi network.
