A new feature released in December 2023 is the ability to schedule your screens to turn on and off using the HDMI-CEC feature on your screen/TV.

To work, the HDMI-CEC setting may need to be enabled via the screen/TV's on-screen menu. Please look at your TV/screen manuals for instructions on turning on HDMI-CEC if needed.

To activate the schedule, head to Display Settings & Tags:
โ€‹

Then select your screen, and click the menu next to Screen off/on schedule:

Select either:

  • Edit default schedule, a company-wide schedule that applies to all screens

  • Edit screen schedule, a screen-specific schedule

Edit default schedule:

  • Disabled: the screen will respond to the manual remote control commands

  • Always on: the screen will not be able to be turned off using the remote control command

  • Custom schedule: set an on and off time. "Force state" will constantly keep the TV in the desired state for that schedule to prevent people from turning the TV off in the middle of the day.

Edit screen schedule:

  • Company default: use the company-wide default

  • Disabled: the screen will respond to the manual remote control commands

  • Always on: the screen will not be able to be turned off using the remote control command

  • Custom schedule: set an on and off time. "Force state" will constantly keep the TV in the desired state for that schedule to prevent people from turning the TV off in the middle of the day

  • Tag assignment (highlight green above): assign the screen's schedule to any screens assigned to that tag
